Daily Disposable Contact Lenses

Daily disposable contacts are designed to be worn only once. They are great for people on-the-go, frequent travelers, or those who like to wear their contacts only on occasion. Because they reduce the risk of eye infections caused by improper contact lens care, they are perfect for first time or younger wearers. Daily disposable contacts are available through a wide variety of brands like Acuvue, Alcon (formerly known as CIBAVision), Bausch & Lomb, and Cooper Vision.

2 Week Replacement Contact Lenses

2 week replacement contact lenses transmit a high level of oxygen which promotes excellent eye health, and are intended to be replaced every two weeks. These are offered through Alcon (formerly known as CIBAVision), Acuvue, Bausch & Lomb, and Cooper Vision.

Monthly Replacement Contact Lenses

Monthly wear contacts stay comfortable and moist for up to 30 days. Acuvue, Alcon (formerly known as CIBA Vision), Bausch & Lomb and Cooper Vision

Soft Contacts for Presbyopia (For those with difficulty reading small print)

As one ages, vision correction becomes necessary for near vision because the lens of the eye cannot change shape as easily as it once did. This common condition can usually be corrected using contact lenses. Dr. Banser will fit you for distance correction in the contacts and you can simply wear reading glasses when needed. This usually works very well for reading very fine print or in poor lighting conditions. Another option is to wear one contact for distance vision and one for near vision. This option is called mono-vision. It works well for many people but not for everyone. Lastly, you might want to try bifocal (multi-focal) contacts, which are designed to allow both distance and near vision. It is important to have realistic expectations for wearing any of these contact lens options. If you are candidate for these methods Dr. Banser will carefully select the best lenses for you.

Rigid Gas-Permeable Lenses (RGP) Contact Lenses

Today’s hard contacts are rigid gas-permeable (RPG) lenses. These lenses may be the best option for patients whose prescriptions have too much astigmatism or irregular astigmatism that may prevent a soft lens from providing sharp vision.

Sleep your way to Great Vision™ Correct your vision while you sleep with safe, non-surgical Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) therapeutic lenses, and enjoy great vision 24 hours a day, without the hassles of glasses and daytime contacts.

What is Paragon CRT®? Paragon CRT is a unique oxygen permeable therapeutic contact lens designed to temporarily correct myopia (nearsightedness and moderate levels of astigmatism) by gently reshaping the cornea during sleep. Patients remove lenses in the morning and go throughout the day without any additional vision correction needed.
